Privacy policy

This page describes what happens to data when you read NewsFoxes. It is short because the site is a set of static pages: there is no account to create, no comment form, and no newsletter.

Server logs

Our hosting records ordinary web-server logs for every request: IP address, time, the address requested, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. They are used to keep the site running and to find errors, and they are not combined into reader profiles or sold.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising script, and carries no analytics or social tracking pixel. Nothing on a page follows you to another site.

Fonts, images and outside links

Page type is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google’s servers see the request for the font files. A few archive reports show a photograph hosted by the agency that supplied it, and that agency’s server sees the request for the image. Links to other sites — including the paid placements in the Partner network strip — leave this site, and what those sites collect is described in their own policies, not here.
